Last night in Hythe

The first little shower of our holiday wasn't going to spoil our last night in Hythe.

Surprise Party

Alison & Simon organised a surprise 18th birthday BBQ for Oli he returned from his driving test to a garden full of friends. Luckily he had passed first time.

Lasanga

We stayed with Aaron & Anna for a couple of nights.

Aaron made his wonderful lasanga for supper.

Train Museum Hythe

Malcolm had been wanting to go to the little train museum for a while it was well worth a visit Ben had a lovely time driving a signal box! I preferd lunch at the garden center.

Be careful what you wish for

Be careful what you wish for. We were trying a curry from a new Bangladesh take away and Malcolm was moaning that he can never get a curry hot enough well his was so hot that he grabbed the mint sauce to cool his mouth. Obviously we didn't laugh at his discomfort.................

Ikea

We left Littleborough after breakfast and Malcolm wanted to call into Ikea in Leeds to get some shelves for the garage.

The Peacock Rooms

We had a wonderful meal at the Peacock Rooms shame that the toilets were not up to the rest of the decor.

Walk

Avril & Malcolm took Alf for a walk to New Town which is now a ruin. Malcolm was very taken with the Pine tree/ariel.

Hebden Bridge

Avril and I went to Hebden Bridge to do some shopping. Malcolm and Stu met us for lunch and to take the mornings bags home to free us for the afternoon.

Antique's

We had a lovely visit to an antique centre in a church with Margaret & Millicent there was of course a wonderful cafe for lunch.

Tadpoles

Ann our neighbour gave us a couple of tadpoles Ben was fascinated by them.
