The North

I had a few days with Avril and Stu before returning home we had a day in Manchester with Fish and chips at Mr Toms quite delicious. Followed by a quick look in at Mr Sams to get a photo of the Lowry sculpture at the bar but it was out of focus so will have to return with a new camera. Sunday was Ashton farmers market where we met Aunty Margaret and Millie it was very chilly so we had some mulled wine to warm the cockles. All too soon it was time to return via Manchester airport where I was charged excess baggage for 2 killos humm. Cheek I must weigh far less than the average passenger.

Happy Times

Sunday we had lunch at the Plough and Sail at Pagelsham Seb had white bait which he loves. There was a huge roaring fire that we were grateful for as it was a cold wet day. Monday was girls night out and we had lots of laughs about the old days the photos were all out of foucus, sorry. Tuesday was a quiet day with Anna and Seb before venturing north to manchester.

UK break

Malcolm said he would look after mum so I could have a break. I had not been to the Uk for a year so it was great to see family and friends. We had a visit to the Sea Life Centre with Seb who loved the sharks. Lunch was at Ocean Beach where I discoverd the screen on my camera was broken so many of the photos I took while away were rubbish.

Let there be light

Malcolm has been busy this week putting a new light up in the kitchen. He also made a wonderful steak and kidney pie. We had a family roast on Thursday before Charlie had to go for a check up. All was well with him thank goodness.Mum & I went to the hairdressers. I had a meeting at the hospital about my shoulder. Abigail called in for breakfast today with Charlie who was soon at home and fast asleep.

Flea Market

Emilie has been away on a skiinging holiday with her new school she had a wonderful time.It was very quiet here without her. There was a flea market held in the village hall and we said we would take Emilie and Frankie but he didn't want to come so Lil came instead. Emilie bought some fossils including some sabre tooth tiger teeth, and Lil bought some toys. The girls played Pooh sticks on the way back to the car which was parked in Emilie's school grounds.
