Lillian's Pooh birthday

Saturday the 28th was Lils 3rd birthday but as she was not very well we decided that she might feel better on the following day. I don't know where this strapping great noisy child has come from she was so tiny at birth but it gives us all hope for Charlie just hope he is not quite so loud.

Charlie boy

Charlie is slowly improving and we all look forward to the day he can come home.

Farewell adieu

Farewell adieu sadly the days went far to quickly as usual and it was soon time to say our sad goodbyes.

Dinner at Grandma and Granddads

Dinner at Grandma and Granddads. It was lovely to have Aaron Anna and Sebastian over for dinner we cooked the Moroccan lamb and it was excellent. I also got to use the bottle opener that Martin bought me for my birthday.

Poor Malcolm.

Sunday I looked after Lil  Seb & Ben while everyone went to the Schueberfouer they had a great time on all the rides. Monday we took Aaron Anna & Seb on a tour of the countryside and ended up at Remich for a boat ride.Unfortunately there were no boats running, and our favorite restaurant was shut. We did find an alternative one and they made Sebie some frites.Malcolm has had a pain in his face for weeks the dentist filled  a tooth but it was not the problem. He has had to have painful root canal treatment to kill the nerve.

Amneville Zoo

Saturday looked like it would be a sunny day so we all went to the zoo. In fact it was about 33c a very hot day we wandered around slowly melting, most of the animals were asleep in the shade. Aaron stayed at home as he didn't feel well. We decided to come home earlier than planned as we were all frazzled.

BBQ

Thursday Malcolm Frankie and I went to the opticians. I can see the surgeon in October about having my left eye cataract dealt with. Poor Frank was very sick on the journey home. Friday Anna was poorly so we took Aaron to town to get him a new wallet for his birthday. In the afternoon we picked some veg and and had a BBQ at Abigail & Romain's.

60th Birthday

I had a wonderful day. A surprise party at Amelia's in the morning, then off to the hairdressers. Every one here in the afternoon and then dinner at IL Castello Borghese in the evening perfect.

Aaron Anna & Sebastian

Aaron Anna & Sebastian have come for a holiday unfortunately the weather is wet and cold. Aaron brought me a new computer which looks very smart just hope I can use it. He also brought a hard drive thing so I might salvage some data off the dead desk top.

Grandma Ethels birthday

Grandma Ethel was 84 years old so we had a little tea party for her. The children made the fairy cakes, she was very pleased with her cards and gifts.

Total Meltdown

Malcolm Amelia and Ben went to stay with Aaron & Anna for a few days. Amelia had some shopping to do and Malcolm went to collect some things for grandma. Sebastian loved Ben from the moment he saw him which was nice. They all had a lovely time together. Meanwhile back here my web cam died followed soon after by the computer. Malcolm had taken the lap top so I was stuck with no internet access till Romain popped round with the spare lap top.
