Summer is here

Lilly is so tired when she gets home from creche that she crashes out with her Poo friends. It so reminds me of Hayley. Next week she is going to have a nap at creche before comming home. At last some hot summer weather 30c on the terrace. Abigail Rom and Lil popped in and stayed for a BBQ. And we had our first visit from baby Ben, big hugs Ben as Lil calls him. Today we had breakfast at the English shop and Amelia Martin and Ben joined us.

Benjamin Brereton Lees Ellis

Benjamin Ellis was born on the 12th May and weighed 8llbs. Bonita was very pleased as it is also her birthday. We all had cuddles and some Champagne when we got home.

De Brailaeffel

The De Brailaeffel is a small reastaurant just five hundred yards from Amelia and Martins house so we thought we would try dinner there and maybe book it for our wedding aniversary next month. It was a great find as we all had a wonderful meal (Luxembourgish and French) plus the house wine was excellent. So we shall be going there again and again.

Mika

We bought tickets to see Mika at the Rockall just before Christmas but once again Abigail missed out and couldnt come. Frankie had her ticket and was spellbound and wants to sing and dance like Mika when he grows up. Emilie lokked very grown up and I noticed the other girls looking at her shoes with interset ( from Next) Mika was excellent it was just such a shame that the show was over an hour late starting and the kids vere very bored and almost wanted to go home.

First day at Nursery school

A new Montesorri nursery has just opend at Easter and Lil has got a place. She was so happy to go untill she was left then she cried until she was sick she is still in the settling in period at the moment so hope she settles down soon. Amelia and Malcolm were measuring their bumps to see who was the biggest...............................

Dig Dig Dig

Malcolm has at last been able to get out in the garden and start on the veg plot. Lil has been helping of course. There has been some unwelcome digging out side our appartment. They have started to build on the vacant plot and arrive at the crack of dawn every morning. Malcolm made his first cake a banana loaf ( well its a bit like a cake).
