Boat Trip

It was our first hot Sunday so we thought we would go for a boat trip in Remich. Bonita said she would like to come with us so we picked her up and went to have some lunch at our favourite restaurant it was so busy we had to wait and wait and wait but the meal was extremly good we had to forgo the coffe or else we would have missed the boat. Bonita burnt her back slightly as she was sat in the sun. We were hoping to catch the new boat but we got the old one but saw the Princess Marie Astrid sailing by and hope to have dinner on it in the future.

Rabbit pie.

Rabbit must be in season as the shop was full of it this week so we made a pie. Malcolm has been busy in the garden at Abigails as the weather has improved at long last. Lilie has been helping of course.
He was very pleased that his daffodils have flowered as they are the first bulbs he has ever planted.

Emilie's 10th birthday

Amelia took her out for lunch and to buy her some new clothes during the holiday and we had bought her bike so she could use it with Lizzie. For the first time Emilie had to go to school on her birthday. I dont think she was too impressed, it usualy falls in the school holidays. Abigail made her some flapjack to take to share with the children and they all thought it was wonderful.

Abigails old school friends Joscelyn and Gary with their little girl Lizzie came to stay for a few days. The children had a great time together. On Saturday night we all went out for a meal at the local Italian for Roms birthday wich was on Sunday but as the children were due to go back to school on the Monday Abigail thought the Saturday night was a better idea.
