Flowers

Linda & Keith were leaving at lunch time for their train home, so Malcolm cooked a full English brunch for them. We had just finished when Amelia and Martin popped in to bring us their flowers from the wedding. Lucky for them that Malcolm always cooks too much so they could eat the left overs.

The 3 drains

The day after the wedding we were all feeling a little fragile. So after some shopping we went to see Amelia & Martins new house which is coming along quite quickley now.Then into the countryside to have a quiet afternoon. We walked to the 3 fountains or drains as I call them. Bonita had invited us to tea on the way home so she could show Linda & Keith her new home.

Wedding Day

Amelia & Martin got married today it was a beautiful day of sunshine and happiness.

Carrots

Malcolm is very proud of his carrots which he has grown this year with a little help from the children. Lil wants to copy every thing we do so we must be careful.........

Big Screen

Amelia had a days work as an extra on the film Flawless with Michael Cain about 3 years ago. She has a brief appearance as a char lady.Very glamorous. We have been waiting for it to arrive in Luxembourg for ages. At last we went to see the film on Sunday it was great fun.

Lizard

Emilie found a lizard in the garden and was very pleased to be brave enough to hold it. The kids love to go picking as they call it with Malcolm in the veg garden. Potatoes are their favorite as they like home made chips. Emilie and Frankie both stayed the night singly and together as it is the last week of the holidays.

Bird Box

Pam & Richard gave Malcolm a bird box for his birthday and he got around to putting it up this week. He also made his first home grown pickled beetroot which should be nice by Christmas.The weather has been very hot and sunny all week which is good for the spirits.

Amelia's Hen Party

Amelia's friends organised an afternoon at the Spa at Mondorf followed by dinner and a night club or two.I thought I would just join them for the dinner which was at Theatre de L'Opera. We had an excellent meal and great fun.
