Just Giving, London Marathon, Asthma UK.

Nikki is running the London marathon to raise money for Asthma Uk in memory of our beautiful Hayley who lives on in all our hearts.

Nikki Beale,
I am running the marathon to help raise money for Asthma UK and I am aiming to raise as much money as possible! I have chosen this charity because my partner's little sister died of asthma at just 11 years old and I have therefore seen the devastating effects that this illness can have.
5.4 million people are receiving treatment for Asthma in the UK, 1.1 million of these are children. There were 1200 deaths in 2006 and 40 of these were children aged 14 or under. 1 person every seven hours dies from Asthma, so please dig deep and donate as much money as you can to try and stop another family being affected by such terrible heartache.
All monies raised will go directly to Asthma UK in memory of Hayley Melissa Hind x

Asthma UK is the charity dedicated to improving the health and well-being of over 5 million people in the UK who have asthma. We work with people with asthma, healthcare professionals and researchers to develop and share expertise to help people increase their understanding and reduce the effect of asthma on their lives. Please support us in our vision of "Control over asthma today, freedom from asthma tomorrow".

Charlie Chaplin

Last year we went to the Philharmonique to see The Grand Parade and thought how wonderful it was. This year it was Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times and once again we were enthralled by the music and cinema experience. Charlie Chaplin was truly a genius. A big thank you to Martin's mum & dad for getting the tickets for us.

Back to School

It was sad to say good bye to Aaron Anna & Sebastian but we were soon back in the routine of school. At least it is light in the mornings now. Malcolm was invited out by our landlord to the Philharmonique to hear a Schubert, Franck & Nielsen concert which he thoroughly enjoyed. Amelia and Martin came round for dinner on Thursday to deliver the Guinea pig prior to going on holiday to Reunion. On Sunday Abigail and family came to lunch and Emilie stayed the night. Grandad did some magic tricks to amuse Frankie and Lillie.
