New Years Eve

We went to the Indian cash and carry so that Malcolm could stock up on his spices and then on to the Wing Yip to do the same. Avril did a four bird roast for dinner and uncle Roy came to join us. Worcester the dog wasn't feeling too well but at least the fireworks didn't worry him.

Mum

We set off up the motorway to visit my mum for a couple of days. Then off again to Avril & Stu for the new year. Avril had cooked a roast duck which was yummy.

Boxing Day

We always have small presents on Boxing day after dinner so that the day is not such a let down after all the excitment of Christmas, once again Sebastian slept through. Aaron and Anna looked after us magnificently. The next day we went to the sales but in fact there was nothing much to buy.

Christmas Day

We had a very quiet morning Sebastian slept through all the excitement. Aaron and Anna had been wondering what was in the big box it was a hedgehog house........Malcolm got his Mallard engine and I got a lap top very lucky. Anna`s family came over for dinner in the afternoon so we had a wonderful family time.

Christmas Eve

We rushed around getting last minute shopping done and visiting friends suddenly it was Christmas Eve. The tradition in our family is to have ham egg and chips for dinner Aaron and Anna didn't have a fryer so they got an early pressie.

Sebastian

We couldn't wait to get to the UK to meet our new grandson Sebastian. The journey was a bit uncomfortable but well worth it. Aaron and Anna were very organised with all the Christmas preparations. Sebastian was adorable and I cuddled him as best I could. Linda Kieth Oli and Kati came over for the day on Tuesday and we had great fun with a raclett for dinner.

Poor Frankie

Poor Frankie has been very poorly it turned out he had pneumonia. So we have been recovering together. Malcolm has been looking after us but is now worn out and needs some tlc. Sebastian is growing fast and we cant wait to meet him.It wont be long before we can have a cuddle.

Malcolms 60th Birthday

Malcolm's birthday was on Monday but we had a little tea party on Sunday so everyone could be there. We couldn't go out for a meal as I was just out of hospital and Frankie was still poorly.

Shoulder troubles

Wednesday came around far to quickly and it was time to go to the hospital to have my shoulder sorted. I think it best if we forget the rest of the week suffice to say it was not a lot of fun.

New grandson

We are pleased to say that Sebastian George Phillips was born at 8.45pm on the 6th December and weighed in at 7lbs 14oz.

A proud grandma and grandad got their first look on skype.

Chaos

This week has been quite a muddle. The kids have been ill with the virus and so are off school. The floor in the lounge has been sanded and oiled so is out of bounds. I have been to the hospital and have to have an operation on my shoulder next week, one thing after another. We went to the city to pick up the guinea pigs from Amelia's and to have an Indian meal which was very nice and Malcolm had a hot curry specially made for him.
