Historic & Hysterical
I woke up on Saturday feeling very poorly and was extreemly peeved and sorry for myself as I felt that with my arm hurting so much it was most unjust that I should now have a virus. Sunday and Abigail came down with the same thing so we struggled all week with Malcolm looking after the two of us and the children he was a hero. I went to the hospital to see the orthopaedic consultant re my shoulder/arm and he was very happy. I think I made his day, he said I had an historic amount of calcification the most he had ever seen and the ex rays should be in a text book. He did add that it was perhaps very painful so I said yes it is. He arranged for me to have an mri on Friday. I skipped along for my scan only to be told to lie down on the bed and "the Dr e will urt you, but not a lot" which filled me with confidence (why would an mri hurt) haha first I had a large dose of radio active stuff put in my neck followed by a ct scan, I hadn't seen that on my appointment paper I really must learn French. Still its all over now until Wednesday when I see the Doctor again to be told what he is going to do to my shoulder. I think I would like to be asleep whatever it is.

The first snow

We have had our first snow of the winter. The children are hoping for a lot more as last year we didn't have very much at all. Friday night we went out for an Indian meal with Abigail Amelia and Martin it was to celebrate the signing of their house or hole as it has become known. The builders can now recommence the building which had to stop until everything was official.

Painful deposits
Monday I had to go to the hospital to have an ultra sound of my shoulder and Tuesday a ct scan of my neck. I have calcium deposits in my shoulder very very painful until I was given some wonderful pills by the doctor. Now I am too squiffy to notice. Frankie thinks the hospital is a wonderful place thanks to Malcolm playing challenges with him such as which lift is going to open first, poor child could be quite disillusioned one day. I am still waiting for the report on my neck although you are given the cd and we have looked at it, we dont understand what it means.........

The children were on half term this week. First thing Monday morning it was off to the dentist not my favorite place to go. The children were very good while Malcolm and I had a clean and polish. Frankie had a long chat with a lady all about his birthday. Tuesday was a big treat, ice cream at the hospital while I had an X-ray. The boiler broke down at Clemency so we had to provide baths and showers for everyone. Frankie and Emilie each stayed with us for a night. Friday was the hairdressers. You cant say we don't know how to enjoy ourselves.........Saturday Malcolm and I went to the new Indian restaurant in Basharage and had a very nice meal.

On the way home we stopped at the baby shop to buy Lilie her birthday Teddy it was a bit late but we haven't had time till now. She wasn't going to let go of him so the lady had to cut the tag off and scan it so I could pay.
