Autumn Cleaning

It was Abigail's half term this week which was nice for her to be able to spend time with Bonita. We tried to get some cleaning done at home for a change. Malcolm only just got the grass cut before it rained and we had a beautiful rainbow.I have had trouble with my arm and had to give in and visit the doctor who is having new ex rays done on my neck..........

Frankies birthday dinner

Frankie does like to put on a shirt and tie and go out to dinner. I would say he takes after his grandfather in this but Malcolm has now given up wearing a tie after 58 years. Bonita arrived in the afternoon and Amelia and Martin collected her from the airport and we met everyone at the Beerhause for dinner.

Frankies 5th birthday

Frankie has been so excited about his birthday all he kept saying was "I cant believe I am 5, I just cant believe it, its just so perfect." He loved his birthday tea and wasn't too interested in opening his presents, he was so happy. He thought we should go out to dinner so he could wear his shirt and tie but we are going to do that tomorrow as Bonita is coming for a few days and we thought she would like to be there too.

Lilie learns to juggle

Lilie is most impressed with my juggling skills (only two balls) and is keen to do it herself. Emilie and Frankie went back to school on Thursday but Abigail Romain and Martin have had the bug this week poor things. Frankie is looking forward to his 5th birthday on Saturday when he will be a big boy.

The new piano

Romain ordered an new piano in oak but has it hasn't arrived yet. The man at the shop has lent them this black one for now. Emilie and Frank were very excited when it arrived.

Mama Mia

We had a girls day out on Saturday the first for a long time. Amelia stayed here on Friday night and we went to visit the kitchen shop to alter the plans.Then it was off to pick up Abigail and have lunch followed by shopping, dinner and finally the cinema to see Mama Mia. We were not sure what to expect but we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the film. We hope the Karaoke version will come here soon and then we will go to see it again. Amelia stayed the night and Malcolm cooked us poached egg on toast for breakfast.

Dear oh dear

Poor old Emilie and Frankie have been poorly this week. They have had Pharyngitis. Lilie was a bit poorly last week as were Malcolm and I but we are much better now. Amelia had fallen over last week and thought nothing of it but in fact she had damaged her hand and had to go to A & E to be strapped up so all in all a poor old week.

Computer troubles

My computer has been very poorly. It kept turning its self on and off and doing very strange things. Eventualy it was found to be a dead graphics card. After replacing it all is now well. Thanks Aaron & Romain.

My Australian bottle brush plant is obviously happy as its flowering probably thinks its summer well it was 21c yesterday..

Queen in Luxembourg

No not THE Queen just Queen. Abigail and I went to see them at Rockall and they were fantastic.....We could almost reach them on stage, that is the wonder of Luxembourg, the rock venues are small. I have some videos but wasnt sure about putting it on you tube. Sad to say we also bought tee shirts.

Liliane is walking

Malcolm returned from the U.K. and was very pleased to see Lili walking . Amelia and Martin are hoping to sign for their hole in the ground in the next few days which will one day be their dream home.
