Snow

Friday night, Abigail Amelia Aaron Anna and I went to the Beerhouse for dinner .Romain stayed home with the children who had both been poorly. Aaron was keen to try the beer testers. We had a good night with lots of laughter a great stress reliever. As we were leaving we had our first snow fall. Hope we don't have too much yet as Aaron and Anna have to drive back to England on Sunday.

E mails please

Aaron & Anna drove over on Tuesday to see Malcolm and to help out. It was wonderful to see them and they have been great . Aaron brought over our (my) new computer which he had built but somewhere in the process of instaling things I have lost all my old emails and addresses so please would you all email us so we can get back in touch.

What a week

Well , I didn't think we would be testing out the Luxembourg health service again so soon and we started again at A for A & E. Malcolm had not been feeling well for some time but put it down to the after effects of the bladder infection. We all told him to go back to the doctor but............... He woke in the night with pains in his back and abdomen Romain took him to A & E where they gave him a painkilling drip and told him to contact the urologist in the morning. He awoke in the morning in severe pain so off to the hospital again for more scans ex rays and tests. The result of which was found to be a very large Kidney stone blocking the way to the bladder. The stone couldn't be dealt with until the kidney was relived so he went to theatre to have a tube inserted which did the trick. He has lots of antibiotics and pain killers and is now home. Monday he has to go to the city hospital to have the stone annihilated ( hopefully).

Rain Rain go away

The storm that lashed England this week just reached us in Luxembourg. It rained rather a lot and flooded the garden at Abigail's. Emilie was a bit concerned that we would need a boat to escape. We were lucky just our satellite dish blew over and our tree came out of its pot.

Amelia's Birthday

Amelia needed cheering up on her birthday so Abigail made her a roast chicken dinner with wonderful Yorkshire puddings. She also made a birthday cake which the children helped her to decorate with a sea monster. It was followed by a Karaoke session on the play station.

Happy New Year

We wish all our family and friends a happy new year. Malcolm has been unwell but is on the mend at last. He has been busy building a lock for his model train which is now almost finished. The train is in Abigail's loft which is soon to be converted into a station waiting room. Emilie is very proud to be allowed to drive the trains.
