No not that bulge that will take place in the new year, this is the real battle. Amelia and Marc are on holiday this week so each afternoon when we have finished looking after the children we go out. We have done some Christmas shopping in the city, seen Harry Potter ( sans Liam and Nik sorry boys we did miss you ) Visited the Christmas market in Trier. Been up north to the Battle of the Bulge museum in Diekirk which was very sobering, a wonderful place full of tanks and weapons, photos and personal stories. It will be a must see for our visitors . Tomorrow the car is having new headlamps fitted so we don't blind the on coming traffic, it has got very cold so next week we are having winter tyres put on before the M.O.T and registering nightmare on the 1st of December.
Abigail has got herself a little job at the European school. It's just one lesson a day teaching English as a second language to 22 children age 5-6 years old from all over Europe. Malcolm is chauffeur and I am the babysitter. Only problem is Abigail had offered to pick up two little Polish girls from school and give them lunch for a few weeks and they don't speak a word of English............ . I pick them up with Emilie we have lunch Frankie goes to bed then Abigail is back to take the girls to school.
Amelia and Marc came over with the Sunday papers, bacon and white sliced bread. What a treat! The weather was warm and sunny 22c. We don't need to go to New England to see the autumn colours take a look at these trees.
Last week Abigail and Romain were both ill. Guess what; this week I am ill aches and pains everywhere I just hope Malcolm doesn't catch it. Amelia also has been to hospital she wore some face paints to go out on Halloween and was allergic to it she came up in a rash and then her neck and tongue started to swell but a steroid jab and some pills sorted her out.
