Linda's BIG birthday

Once again we caught the train to UK to attend Linda's birthday bash at the Roade House Northampton we had a lovely time catching up with family and friends.

Reunion

We had a lovely reunion at Frank & Christine's to celebrate the retirement of Steve Sheila & Eileen it was wonderful to catch up with so many old friends.

Birthday dinner

We went to the Shoebury Hotel for Aaron birthday dinner it was under new management again and was very good.

Lydd beach

We stayed at Hythe for a long weekend so that we could take Aaron out for his birthday and attend a retirement party. To blow away the cobwebs we walked along the beach at Lydd.

Back to school

Ben and Charlie have moved up to Precose now but they are in separate classes as they are trouble when they are together. Frankie has a new friend at school a little girl from the Congo named Joyce. Emilie has moved up to the Classic and seems to have settled in very well.

End of the holidays

The Children have been busy this week building a board for their war hammer game. I don't know who has enjoyed it more the kids or Malcolm, except he cut a slice off his index finger. Em knitted her first garment a little neck warmer.

Dover Castle

For the last day of the holiday we went to Dover castle it was the only cold and wet day we had but still had a good time.

Fishing

The children thought they would like to try fishing. Malcolm was very keen too........Frank was disappointed that the rod he ordered didn't arrive in time.

Alkham Garden Center

The food at the garden center is very very good especially the cake.

Fire Places

Aunty Wainwright's came up trumps again, we found two fireplaces one for the boys room one for the bathroom. Malcolm has designed a surround so they will soon be back in place. Jo made some beautiful bunting for the garden and Emilie and Malcolm repaired the dinning room tiles. He also replaced the tiles on the toilet window sill.

Train Museum

We took Em Frank & Lil to the train museum for an hour so that Abigail & Romain could pack the car.
